Amber and Sam are a couple hailing from the UK but calling home wherever they are parked. They are climbers and bouldering guides, and enjoy writing, photography, outdoor pursuits, cooking massive, weird (mostly veggie and sometimes foraged) meals, travel, and enjoying the slow life.
A shared obsession with rock climbing has been the predominant driving force for their ongoing adventure. Luckily this goes hand in hand with travelling to some amazing places and meeting awesome people. Upgrading their 'home' from a Renault Clio, to a Golf Estate, to it's current form, a self-converted Renault Trafic van, has given them more freedom to spend longer on the road as well as to straighten their legs at night.
They try to live in a manner that is environmentally conscious, and do recognise the irony of living in a big diesel-mobile. They mitigate this as they can; limiting meat and animal product consumption, not wasting food, recycling, using environmentally friendly cleaning and washing products, solar charging where there is sun. Van life can be quite eco, with low water and electricity use. They are always keen to reduce their impact further and are open to new ideas - and (affordable) electric vans!
This site replaces their previous online home, roadramble.tumblr.com, an abstract sort of a blog continued here with a little more order.
Anyway, they hope you enjoy wandering through this creation. Please comment profusely and get in touch if you like, feedback is always appreciated.
